Governor Rodgers Announces Inflation Conference To Address Inflation

May 11, 2024

RUFUS - New Shire is facing a record-high inflation that doesn't seem to be subsiding, and as Lynn Rodgers enters her third day in office, she is continuing to find ways to reduce the inflation and address the rising costs of living. During her search for a solution, she has come to the conclusion that she will not be able to reduce the high-rate inflation alone, and is calling on State Senate and House leaders and lawmakers to find a permanent solution to the record-high inflation.

In doing so, she has schedule an inflation conference to find ways to work with the State legislature to reduce inflation and provide some economic relief to struggling families across the State. She will focus on ways to address the high food prices, outrageously high gas prices and the cost of living, including high housing prices, and cost of rent.

The conference will seek to gain insight to the spending of the State and what can be cut from the Executive budget to lower inflation, and the costs of food and gas. The conference will see Governor Rodgers address the entire state legislature, including both the Senate and the House.
