Governor Rodgers Signs Historical Inflation Reduction Bill

FROM GOVERNOR LYNN RODGERS

For Immediate Release

May 18, 2024

RUFUS - I am pleased to announce that the State's Senate and House have quickly pushed through a bill that will reduce inflation by 82%, and will allow prices to naturally become lower. The inflation bill is a cut in spending, which will drive inflation down. The State Of New Shire needs this much needed break, and it go into effect next week. The bill will drive inflation down by regulating how much the State spends, including reducing the amount of business trips any political figure can take.

Accountability and Spending Control will aid in lowering the record high inflation that has plagued this state. Not only will those things help, but the ending of non-essential programs that the state spends billions on annually, will also drive inflation out the door. We are working on ways to cap the rise in costs of food, gas, and natural oils. This bill addresses the rising costs of goods and services and are continuing to work on ways to drop those as well.

We still have an abundance of work to do, but I expect that we will get these inflation prices back to normal and allow New Shirens to live easier, while paying less for more groceries. I will continue to work at reducing these costs and will work towards bettering the lives of everyone who lives in this state.

Signed,

Lynn Rodgers

Governor Of New Shire
